Responsibilities and Duties:
Effectively diagnose, solve problems and maintain HVAC systems in both residential and commercial applications along with having a good understanding of indoor air quality products Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, in residential or commercial establishments, to improve efficiency Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring Effectively explain solutions to customers regarding their needs, while ensuring complete customer gratification on every call Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction Keep and maintain inventory in your service truck Keep truck, tools, and supplies organized Be on-call rotation with other technicians for after-hours calls
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education Highschool Educations or Beyond EPA Certification Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds Able to go into hot attic spaces, crawl spaces, stairs, etc. Outgoing and personable attitude with the willingness to learn and grow Team Player and Positive Attitude Summit Services has been designed to be the leader in the HVAC industry throughout Hilton Head, Bluffton, & beyond.
