Position Overview A San Luis Obispo based Citation XLS Captain performs Part 91/135 aircraft pilot duties safely and efficiently, operating type‑rated aircraft under ACI Jet’s 135 Certificate. The pilot reports directly to the Chief Pilot.
Responsibilities
Operate ACI Jet aircraft in compliance with company rules, manufacturer limitations, and all applicable regulations.
Coordinate with Flight Dispatch to ensure flight objectives are achieved per policy and procedures.
Provide unparalleled courtesy and professionalism to clients and owners.
Maintain Electronic Flight Bag(s) up to date.
Perform thorough pre‑flight inspections covering aircraft, equipment, documentation, and flight conditions.
Qualifications
3,500 total flight hours
2,000 hours as Pilot‑In‑Command
1,500 hours multi‑engine
500 hours multi‑engine PIC
300 hours instrument
500 hours turbine
Current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with English proficiency endorsement
Valid ATP rating
First‑Class Medical
Valid United States passport
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3–5 years of professional aviation experience
Team‑oriented, motivated, and organized in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary ($130,000 – $175,000 / yr, DOE)
