$175,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr Our civil litigation firm is seeking to add an experienced civil litigator to manage a caseload consisting of plaintiff’s side personal injury and tenant rights. Schwimer Weinstein LLP is a boutique litigation firm based in Venice Beach, CA with a reputation and track record of results. We are looking for a litigation attorney with superior knowledge and understanding of civil procedure who can use that ability to take cases strategically and creatively from filing to trial preparation. Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day litigation case management and direct junior staff Prepare and execute discovery plans, including propounding and responding to discovery, drafting meet and confer letters, and motion to compel Draft pleadings, briefs and motions, including motions for summary judgment Conduct party, witness, and expert depositions Conduct legal research and investigations Attend court hearing and argue motions Meet with clients and conduct pre-trial and deposition preparation 1st or 2nd chair trial experience and insurance defense experience is a plus Qualifications & Skills
Admittance to CA State Bar 5-7+ years of litigation experience Benefits
