I am with an accounting search firm, and I am working with an organization in the area looking to hire a Grants Accountant. This is a newly created position due to growth the organization is experiencing. They are on a hybrid schedule and have a very collaborative environment with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain precise financial records for all grants, monitoring and tracking expenditures to ensure alignment with donor requirements and approved budgets.
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports for donors and program teams.
Develop, monitor, and analyze budget-to-actual performance.
Reconcile grant-related accounts and prepare necessary journal entries.
Qualifications
BA in Accounting (required)
2+ years of non-profit accounting and grants experience
EXCEL proficiency (VLOOKUPS, formulas, multi-tab spreadsheets, etc.)
Great understanding of debits/credits
