Join a fast-growing e-commerce and retail technology company as an Azure DevOps Engineer in a hybrid role supporting cloud infrastructure and CI/CD operations for high-volume retail platforms. This organization provides omnichannel commerce solutions, inventory management systems, and customer engagement platforms to major retail brands and online marketplaces across North America. You'll be part of a 15-person Platform Engineering team responsible for managing Azure cloud environments that handle millions of customer transactions and billions of API calls during peak shopping seasons. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, deployment pipeline optimization, and platform scalability, supporting engineering teams across product, mobile, and data analytics divisions. Based in Provo, UT, this position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with two days onsite and three days remote work per week.

Why This Role Stands Out This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high‑scale retail technology that powers shopping experiences for millions of customers. You'll face unique technical challenges around seasonal traffic spikes, real‑time inventory synchronization, and zero‑downtime deployments during critical sales events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The Platform Engineering team operates with significant autonomy, encouraging engineers to experiment with new technologies and drive infrastructure innovation. You'll work with cutting‑edge cloud technologies including Azure Kubernetes Service, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and event‑driven architectures while collaborating with product engineering, data science, and site reliability teams. The organization is actively modernizing its infrastructure, migrating from monolithic applications to microservices, implementing progressive delivery patterns, and building advanced observability capabilities. This creates an ideal environment for someone who thrives on solving complex scalability challenges and wants to see direct impact on customer experience. With competitive compensation in the $100,000 to $125,000 range plus performance‑based stock options, generous benefits, and a strong learning culture, this role offers both technical growth and equity upside. The team values experimentation, blameless postmortems, and continuous learning, with dedicated time for professional development and hackathons.
