Job Description The Katherine Thomas High School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD, has an opportunity for a part-time (20 hours per week minimum) Speech Language Pathologist, beginning with the current school year. KTS services students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or high functioning autism. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Responsibilities The Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language, and autism.
Compensation Hourly rate ranges from $36 to $45.50, based on experience.
Required Experience
Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or equivalent degree.
Must be licensed by the State of MD.
Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and Social Thinking is a plus.
Have strong diagnostic evaluation and report writing skills.
