Position Overview We are now seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands‑on
Director of Indirect Sourcing & Logistics
to join our Group Supply Chain leadership team. This is a critical senior role that will shape our global sourcing and logistics capabilities, influence long‑term business direction, and ensure we continue delivering excellence to our customers worldwide.
In this global leadership position, you will own the strategic direction and operational execution for indirect procurement and logistics. You will develop and lead category strategies, optimize supplier performance, elevate contract management, and drive end‑to‑end value creation across our indirect spend portfolio—including logistics services, professional services, facilities, IT, and more.
You will also play a key role in strengthening resilience in our supply chain by developing strategic partnerships, implementing best‑in‑class sourcing processes, and leading initiatives that improve efficiency, transparency, and digital maturity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute global category strategies for indirect spend, including logistics, IT, facilities, and professional services - Drive long‑term sourcing initiatives that align with business objectives, cost targets, and operational needs - Lead transformation initiatives to modernize sourcing and procurement processes, tools, and systems
Supplier & Contract Management - Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to secure competitive advantage - Build strategic supplier partnerships that support reliability, innovation, and cost efficiency - Establish frameworks for continuous improvement, risk reduction, and sustainability in the supplier base
Operational Excellence - Oversee global logistics sourcing and work closely with the supply chain organization to support inbound flows - Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks - Lead budget planning, financial reporting, and cost optimization activities across indirect categories
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regions and functions - Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, providing insights on market trends, risks, and opportunities - Promote cross‑functional collaboration to drive standardization and harmonization in sourcing practices
Continuous Improvement & Digitalization - Champion digital procurement tools, process automation, and data‑driven decision‑making - Drive improvements in transparency, risk management, and supplier analytics - Support initiatives that strengthen resilience, flexibility, and responsiveness across the supply chain
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic transformation—modernizing sourcing capabilities, implementing new systems, or driving organizational change
Extensive experience in global sourcing of indirect commodities, including logistics
Proven track record in a senior leadership role within procurement or supply chain
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting
Exceptional negotiation, supplier management, and analytical capabilities
Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and lead diverse global teams
Deep understanding of global sourcing practices, supply chain dynamics, and market trends
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
