As Director, Procurement, you will guide strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution while developing a high-performing team. Your leadership will empower stakeholders, optimize value creation, and reduce total cost of ownership—fueling Spectrum’s continued growth and operational excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop complex, commodity specific sourcing strategies and category plans that span across the business
Perform required business analysis with key stakeholders to align business priorities with procurement initiatives
Lead the supplier selection process through management of formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes
Conduct market and industry analysis. Utilize Procurement expertise to develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to help drive solutions for our internal stakeholders
Determine, oversee and perform the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements
Oversee supplier contract performance - acting as an escalation point in the event of non-performance
Evaluate new business models or use innovative approaches to optimize results
Manage supplier relationships and contract activities in support of the business
Develop, monitor and amend departmental processes and procedures to ensure effective administration of agreements and centralization of procurement activities
Leverage systems including Contract management, P2P and Supplier management to improve sourcing strategies and communication with suppliers
Train and develop management staff to ensure alignment of departmental activities with organizational goals and objectives
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects and align with their strategic objectives
Manage direct reports through leveraging team member skills, coaching, and identifying developmental activities to achieve department goals
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
8+ years of experience in procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience
5+ years of experience managing and developing employees
Experience in eProcurement technology (Ariba preferred)
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
Ability to be self-driven with an adaptive leadership style and a passion for procurement
Demonstrated analytical skills
Knowledge of business and finance
Sourcing and complex negotiation skills
Relationship management and influencing skills
Problem solving and issue resolution skills
Superior communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Ability to focus on cost of ownership
Ability to demonstrate ethics and integrity
Preferred Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or Master’s degree preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between
$124,000.00 and $220,000.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
