Save Job

Quindar Quindar builds modern, cloud-native satellite mission operations software with a simple mission: to operate satellites like servers. Our platform replaces fragmented, legacy ground systems with an integrated, automation-driven approach that brings modern software velocity to space operations.

We're a small, fast-moving team with deep aerospace and software roots, energized by big challenges and motivated by the impact we have on real missions in this next chapter of the Space Age. If you want to work with sharp, ambitious people who push boundaries, move quickly, and are excited to take space operations to the next level, Quindar is the place to do it.

What You’ll Be Doing Don’t make me think. We are looking for a candidate who can simplify a complex user workflow. We need a candidate that can solve customer pain points from the frontend and is not afraid to talk to users. Our challenge to you is to design and implement our frontend so the user needs virtually no product training and minimal clicks. The super cool part? You are creating the interface for users to design, test, and operate hundreds of satellites. Whether they want to take pictures, beam broadband/cellular, or dock with another satellite – this is the interface they will use. That giant screen in NASA mission operations photos? That could be yours.

You’ll be part of a small team of dedicated frontend engineers working closely alongside backend, full stack, and platform engineers to build mission management software. You’ll support a variety of government and commercial satellite missions, all while rapidly iterating with our end users to meet their mission needs!

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain a highly intuitive and usable frontend interface for satellite mission operations

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend/platform engineers to develop and refine features

Build reusable React components using Typescript and modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Refine)

Integrate frontend components with APIs (GraphQL, REST)

Contribute to design in Figma; collect and respond to stakeholder feedback

Ensure best practices in frontend security, resilience, and maintainability

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and test suite development

Engage with users to gather feedback and measure product usage to inform continuous improvements

Expertise in React and TypeScript, including building modular, reusable component libraries

Proficiency with modern React frameworks such as Next.js or Refine (experience with Blitz.js or RedwoodJS also valuable)

Strong UI/UX sensibilities, with the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, elegant interfaces

Experience working in Figma, contributing to design prototypes and collaborating closely with designers

Hands‑on API integration experience, including GraphQL and REST, with an understanding of efficient data fetching and caching patterns

Familiarity with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Auth0, Okta) and fundamental cloud security concepts

Version control proficiency using Git/GitHub in a team‑based workflow

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions, with experience automating builds, tests, and deployments

Working knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Playwright or Cypress) and a commitment to maintaining high test coverage

Soft Skills

Product‑minded engineering approach—you think in terms of user outcomes, not just features

Strong ownership mentality, taking initiative to improve systems, interfaces, and user experiences

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross‑functional settings

Commitment to quality, including maintainability, performance, accessibility, and resilience

Background

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience

3+ years of professional frontend development experience (exceptional self‑taught or nontraditional candidates welcome with demonstrated skill)
