Position Overview
Title:
Associate Brand Manager
Reports To:
Brand Manager, Cider
Location:
Hybrid, East Boston
Compensation:
$60,000 - $90,000 plus annual bonus up to 10% of base salary
Mission The Associate Brand Manager assists with marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial and distribution. The role analyzes data to develop annual, long‑term and short‑term marketing strategy and plans, and contributes to creative assets.
Responsibilities
Build and execute innovation pipeline, generating ideas through trend, competitive and category analysis
Manage projects through the development process, ensuring on time and on budget launches
Analyze channel and customer mix to inform distribution strategy for new launches
Streamline item tracking in GS1 and internally
Execute ad hoc brand partnership requests
Own Cider House Exclusive line: product development, packaging, launch assets, social, emails, website landing page
Own Cider House Merchandise: profitable assortment for taproom following brand guidelines
Own social media calendar: plan posts for Downeast brand, coordinate with innovation brands, manage photographer and copywriter
Develop and execute advertising and consumer promotion plans to build equity, awareness and trial
Develop communication materials and brand creative (ex: POS)
Monitor market trends, consumer trends, competitive activities
Synthesize findings and develop action plans as needed
Conduct consumer research: concept testing, insights work, message testing
Provide standard reporting for owned brand, market/segment and competitive performance weekly/as needed
Help develop annual brand plan for owned brands, including multi‑year innovation pipeline
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in consulting, project management, CPG sales or CPG analyst role
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively across functions and organizations
Ability to manage projects from start to finish
Nice to have
Proficiency with consumer research and syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, Kantar, IPSOS, Numerator)
Product development experience (including creative design)
Bev alc experience
