Job Summary The Senior General Manager is accountable for all aspects of the operational performance for designated Planet Fitness Club locations. The primary focus is to cultivate a positive team‑member and club‑member experience that drives positive financial performance. The Senior GM supports, leads, and manages club leaders to build and retain a great team, provide the ultimate member experience, achieve revenue and profitability targets, and be the top franchise in the PF system. The Senior General Manager may also support additional assigned clubs to develop and mentor other General Managers.

Essential Job Functions

Work with the Area Director to formulate and implement a plan to achieve revenue goals at the club level.

Ensure the club operates in line with the expense budget.

Increase Black‑Card Memberships YoY.

Meet NFP standards (Club Stats, closing %, BC%, secondary billing, PE@PF utilization, etc.).

Maintain at least a passing Club BER inspection monthly.

Decrease club turnover by hiring, motivating, developing, and leading competent staff focused on creating raging fans.

Establish work schedules that maximize staffing resources while keeping payroll hours in line with budget allotment.

Hold staff accountable to policies and procedures; provide constructive counseling promptly.

Ensure employee time is tracked accurately using the time‑keeping system.

Approve staff timecards before payroll deadline.

Complete one‑on‑ones on time with development goals and objectives.

Model servant leadership through daily interactions.

Support front‑desk activities: member tours, DataTrak enrollment, club cleaning to NFP standards.

Hold members accountable to club policies; handle member issues promptly and courteously.

Promote a safe and healthy club environment.

Manage marketing efforts; ensure staff is trained on all promotions.

Report member accidents via the NFP process.

Provide backup support for staff as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may be required.

Additional Essential Job Functions

Assess areas of need in assigned club, develop and execute correction plans.

Update Area Director on club progress weekly.

Attend and participate in Regional Senior Leadership Meetings.
