Solution Architect - Pre-Sales What We Are Looking For As a Solution Architect - Pre-Sales, you’ll play a crucial role in our growth — partnering with Account Executives, demonstrating our AI platform, guiding customers through technical evaluations, and ensuring prospects clearly understand our value.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with Sales to lead technical discovery, understand customer needs, and align our AI solutions to their workflows and environment.
Deliver compelling product demos, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) tailored to each customer.
Serve as the technical expert in the sales cycle — answering questions about architecture, integrations, APIs, model capabilities, security, and performance.
Translate customer pain points into clear product recommendations and work with Product/Engineering to influence the roadmap.
Build technical documentation, sample workflows, and demo assets to support the sales process.
Guide customers through onboarding and initial implementation as needed.
Help refine pricing and packaging from a technical perspective.
Stay current with AI/ML trends to provide thought leadership during customer conversations.
Be the voice of the customer internally — capturing feedback and insights that shape our product strategy.
Qualifications
4–6+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical customer-facing role.
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, APIs, and modern cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to explain complex tech clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Hands‑on experience with programming or scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.) — enough to build demos or debug integrations.
Experience supporting mid‑market and enterprise sales cycles.
High EQ — skilled at building trust, navigating objections, and influencing decisions.
Startup mindset: resourceful, adaptable, thrives in ambiguity, and excited to build processes from scratch.
The annualized OTE (On Target Earnings) range for this position is $180,000 - $260,000+ with a pay mix of 70/30 (base/commission). Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity may be part of the total compensation package.
