About This Role The Microsoft 365 Platform Leader will lead a high‑performing team responsible for the stability, security, and optimization of Carrier’s enterprise Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role is accountable for setting direction, driving operational excellence, and enabling transformation across multiple tenants. The leader will combine strategic vision with hands‑on technical expertise to ensure seamless collaboration, strong identity governance, and compliance with global security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the M365 team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Define and execute the roadmap for Microsoft 365 services aligned with business objectives and digital workplace strategy.

Act as the primary liaison with Workplace Services, Cybersecurity, and business units to ensure governance and adoption of collaboration tools.

Oversee configuration, lifecycle, and health of multiple Microsoft 365 tenants, ensuring high availability and performance.

Drive license governance, analytics, and cost optimization across tenants.

Lead M&A integrations, migrations, and onboarding of new workloads or user populations.

Champion enterprise security and compliance by implementing Microsoft Purview policies, DLP, eDiscovery, and audit logging.

Ensure robust identity governance through Entra ID, enforcing conditional access, MFA, and device compliance.

Partner with cybersecurity teams to investigate and remediate security incidents.

Guide Teams lifecycle management, policy configuration, and external collaboration governance.

Oversee SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration, including retention, IRM, and advanced collaboration features (e.g., Teams Rooms, Surface Hubs).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

7+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 and end‑user technologies, including leadership of technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience in multi‑tenant environments with complex collaboration requirements.

Deep technical knowledge of Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and PowerShell automation.

Strong understanding of enterprise security, compliance frameworks, and identity governance.

Salary The annual salary for this position is between $174,250 – $243,750. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
