Overview
Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor, Lymphoma, on the Full Time Clinical Faculty pathway with an approximately 80:20 contribution to clinical service and academic pursuits. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full‑time clinical faculty member specializing in the clinical care of patients with lymphoma. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Full Professor level, commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW. The selected individual will focus primarily on the clinical care of patients with lymphoma, joining a well‑established and high‑volume lymphoma service with a robust clinical research portfolio. The ideal candidate will actively engage in the group’s research and teaching priorities, while facilitating delivery of exceptional clinical care to cancer patients at a world‑renowned comprehensive cancer center. The primary, annual appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology.
Qualifications
MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
Completion of a fellowship in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology (or foreign equivalent)
Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record in clinical care with a primary focus on lymphoma.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care to patients with lymphoma as part of a high‑volume lymphoma service
Engage actively in the group’s research and teaching priorities
Deliver exceptional clinical care aligning with Fred Hutch’s mission and values

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range varies by rank: $315,000–$335,000 for Clinical Assistant Professor, $350,000–$375,000 for Clinical Associate Professor, and $385,000–$400,000 for Clinical Professor. Positions are incentive eligible, may receive relocation assistance and/or sign‑on bonus. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental plans, term‑life insurance, disability insurance, supplemental life insurance, and 22 vacation days per year.
