Are you ready to take on a pivotal role within an industry-leading Electrical Subcontractor renowned for delivering large scale data center projects? I'm looking for a driven Electrical Project Manager based in Richmond, Virginia who is eager to facilitate project success from conception through completion.
As part of their dynamic electrical delivery team:
Lead coordination efforts across complex electrical installation activities, ensuring all works align with budget parameters and demanding project schedules.
Conduct key meetings while collaborating closely with design engineers, general contractors, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless electrical integration.
Take ownership of electrical budgets/schedules while supporting feasibility assessments, procurement planning, and cash-flow management related to electrical systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing onsite leadership during the installation and delivery of critical electrical infrastructure within major data center projects.
Working strategically with major utility providers—including power distribution companies and fiber network partners—to support timely energization and connectivity.
Engaging with senior stakeholders to deliver detailed electrical progress updates that directly support project decision-making.
Supporting the Project Manager to ensure all electrical milestones are met and technical challenges are resolved efficiently.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with strong technical grounding.
4+ years’ proven experience as a Project Manager within an electrical contracting/subcontracting environment.
Demonstrated commitment to quality and high standards of delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of electrical installation practices.
Previous experience working on data center projects (required).
