Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America supplies products to a wide range of Original Equipment Automotive Manufacturers as well as Aftermarket and Motorsports customers. Our Aftermarket operations are based out of Poway, CA and our Motorsports operations are based out of Mooresville, NC.

Your responsibilities
Lead strategy and transformation projects, and independently structure and implement strategic issues in alignment with global strategy
Monitor automotive market development and underlying trends
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging opportunities, and provide market foresight for planning and strategic discussions
Ensure that business activities comply with relevant automotive industry standards and regulations
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to align business goals and ensure cohesive approach
Identify opportunities for innovation and coordinate with other teams to introduce new offerings that meet needs of automotive market
Ensure compliance and safety of all activities within organization standards and policies.
100% remote position; may telecommute from any location in the U.S.
Your profile
Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Mechanical and Process Engineering, Product Design and Manufacture, or equivalent foreign degree
3 years of work experience in a project management, financial, sales, or leadership position in the automotive industry
Must have 3 years of work experience with each of the following:
Performing problem solving using 5Whys, SWOT Analysis, Porter's Five Forces, Business Model Canvas, Scenario Planning or related methodologies;
Developing and executing strategic plans for projects, optimize sales, and achieve operational objectives;
Managing departmental budgets, and performing budgeting for short, mid and long‑term projects;
Developing detailed project plans to monitor/track progress and measure project performance using network diagrams, CPM, gantt charts;
And differentiating between mono tube, twin tube, passive, semi‑active, active and air suspension.
