THE ROLE We are seeking an expert Data Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain some of the most impactful Enterprise‑wide Big Data and Data Analytics Platform.

THE PERSON You are a highly motivated team player with a strong development background, problem‑solving mentality, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks along with willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration and Management of Hadoop Big Data platform including knowledge of the service components HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn, HBase, Hive and Spark.

Data lake support on both on‑prem and on‑cloud like ADLS.

Manage data integrity and data security for various Big Data platforms.

Patching and vulnerability management and security best practices for data platforms.

Enterprise data warehousing knowledge and support preferably in Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server and Databricks Lakehouse.

ETL tool knowledge using Microsoft SSIS, Databricks, Apache Airflow, etc.

Collaborate effectively with other technical teams to exploit new technologies to enhance the applications and service infrastructure.

Managing cloud subscriptions on Azure, GCP and AWS.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Deep hands‑on experience with Hadoop and other big‑data platforms.

DW development and maintenance, to include ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) to support enterprise‑level business intelligence platforms such as SQL Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services.

Hands‑on experience with on‑prem and cloud‑based big data platforms.

Experience in cloud technologies managing end‑to‑end subscription.

Scripting knowledge in Python with database experience on Postgres DB, MS SQL, MongoDB, MS Reporting Services is preferred.

Solid understanding of enterprise applications development platform.

Familiar with application performance monitoring and load performance test framework/tools.

Creative problem‑solving style and strong critical thinking skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Write clear, concise and comprehensive technical documentation.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred.
