Job Responsibilities You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set the example. You must follow

ALL policy and procedures

100% of the time and expect the same from your crew. Additional duties include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, maintaining the store’s visual appearance, ensuring great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Qualifications

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Complete orientation and training provided on the job.

Understand and give correct written instructions.

Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions & Skills

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).

Make correct monetary change and handle cash accurately.

Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Workers are exposed to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. Duties include exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Demands

Standing for most tasks; walking short distances for short durations.

Lifting heavy items, including bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds.

Carrying, pushing, pulling, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.

Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching above 72°F during various tasks.

Frequent use of hands for eye‑hand coordination, shaping dough, and assembling boxes.

Driving Duties

Deliver product by car to customer door.

Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, and private homes while carrying product.

Drive within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.

Travel between store and vehicle and to customer location; climb five or more flights of stairs if required.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.

Strong navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.

Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
