Compensation $120,000 annual base + commission + fast start bonus
Job Summary The National Sales Director leads and manages nationwide sales operations, building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and directing regional sales managers and 1099 distributors. This high-visibility role reports directly to the CEO and provides the opportunity to shape and lead a nationwide sales organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets (10x annual salary for new business)
Lead, motivate, and coach regional sales managers and national 1099 distributors
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client outreach
Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analytics
Attend national trade shows and partner cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations
Set sales targets and quotas for regional and national teams
Recruit, hire, and train sales personnel
Provide performance feedback and coaching
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Negotiate and close deals with approval from senior management
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify improvement areas
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Extensive sales management experience with proven national-level success
Experience leading regional sales managers and managing a network of 1099 distributors
Strong background in medical devices and pharmaceutical markets (Aesthetics, Orthopedics, Wound Care, Gynecology, Dermatology, Veterinary/VA, Cosmetics)
Deep industry knowledge and established network of 1099 distributors
Proficiency in CRM platforms, forecasting, data analysis, and strategic planning
Executive-level leadership presence, strategic thinking, and results-driven mindset
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience
National or multi-region sales leadership
Existing book of business in medical device markets
Experience managing both direct and 1099 distributor networks
