Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Experimentation Lab (X‑LAB), operates in a very fast‑paced, dynamic environment. We engineer, develop, and integrate new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. The team is composed of many small agile groups that collaborate on Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cybersecurity, and other leading‑edge missile defense technologies. Job Description

The X‑Lab Test Director conducts the planning and analysis of all Missile Defense System tests in which the C2BMC program participates. Examples include pairwise tests with external sensors and labs, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Joint Command and Control with other military agencies, and pre‑flight test HWIL efforts. Tests are conducted with pre‑determined sensors and shooters. The Test Director is responsible for planning all assigned test events, briefing status, building event products such as Event Architecture, briefing Test Objectives to government and leadership, implementing the Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK) and Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configurations, and creating Certification Data Packages. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the CAM efforts for X‑LAB, managing month‑end execution for Level of Effort (LOE) tasks on Task Order (TO) 2, and discrete tasks on TO 3 in support of X‑LAB Integrated Task‑Work Authorization and Allocation (ITWAA) efforts. This position requires a government security clearance at the Secret level; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO, and is 100% onsite. Non‑standard work hours are highly likely during event execution and occasional infrequent travel. Who We Are

Prior experience with the C2BMC Program or missile defense sensor/weapon integration concepts Comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, challenges that require novel solutions, fast‑paced activities, and tight deadlines Experience in development and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure, including establishing control accounts and work packages Must possess strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills Other Important Information
