Responsibilities
Deliver client service engagements for IBM GDPS topologies, IBM Safeguarded Copy, and hardware solutions.
Utilize best practices for mirroring and replication, IBM DS8000 Storage, Storage Migration, and Data Center Migrations.
Apply operating system knowledge (z/OS, Linux, z/VM, Windows) and general computer administration to support engagements.
Manage consulting and client management activities, coding, and project planning to enhance client outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
Experience with computer operating systems and general system administration.
Strong communication skills.
Readiness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Fluent in English.
Interest in mainframe computing.
Experience in client‑facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, and report presentations.
Ability to manage difficult clients and client expectations.
Strong desire to learn and grow into a complex role.
Experience with coding languages.
Additional Details Full‑time position. Mid‑Senior level. Project Management and Information Technology functions. IT Services and IT Consulting industries. Customer travel typically 20%. Availability for occasional nights and weekends.
