Steps Therapy, Inc. specializes in providing comprehensive individualized behavior intervention and consultation to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), their families, and school district personnel. Services include development and implementation of behavior intervention programs based upon Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Job Description Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the quality of home and school based instruction to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Collaborate and bridge communication between IFSP and IEP team members
Maintain and report client progress to school district, regional centers and insurance companies
Conduct assessments as needed
Participate in client intake, progress reporting and exit reporting
Participate identifying and hiring new staff who demonstrate promise in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
Develop, implement and support training of new and current therapists
Provide clinical oversight and manage training of Program Directors
Provide BCBA supervision to those on staff seeking certification
Assist in managing staff and client schedules
Travel to provide direct observations and oversight of programs within the city of San Francisco
Qualifications Job Qualifications:
1-4 years of experience working with children with special needs
Experience implementing intensive behavioral support in the home
Master's degree in special education, early childhood development, psychology or a related field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
