Envestnet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team. This is a remote role.

Job Summary As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you are passionate about collaboratively building high-quality software. You take a modern approach to developing and monitoring new features and services, while also maintaining and enhancing existing solutions. We are seeking a candidate with a strong desire to learn quickly and the ability to analyze both functional and performance issues to identify root causes.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in the design, implementation, and deployment of successful software within a self-organizing Scrum team, following best practices in the SCRUM process.
Apply best practices and company standards for software design, development, and documentation.
Support large-scale and complex development projects by breaking down complex problems into well-defined, executable tasks.
Fulfill individual and team commitments within estimated time and complexity.
Collaborate effectively with team members and internal/external stakeholders to meet project deliverables; may also lead projects.
Guide junior engineers in design techniques and ensure initial schematics align with customer preferences.
Work cross-functionally to enhance stakeholder understanding.
Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
Extensive experience collaborating in an Agile development environment.
Experience with modern web application design.
Proficiency in a modern programming language such as C#, .NET, and experience with NuGet and GIT, along with object-oriented design.
Understanding of SQL and relational database best practices.
Experience in investing/trading and the fintech industry is preferred.
Experience working with microservices and APIs.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Salary The annual base salary range for this position is $124,000 to $155,000.
