A hybrid schedule (Could be remote in Boston except for client meetings & court)

20 PTO days + your birthday + all firm-observed holidays

No billable hour requirement

Responsibilities

Manage and strategize on cases from beginning to end (pre-litigation through settlement)

Support our trial team by attending court hearings & conducting and defending depositions and discovery as needed

Be proactive with client communication regarding cases, particularly regarding their injuries/medical treatment, and updating information in case management software

Communicate with medical providers to stay current on client injuries/treatment in addition to defense firms and insurance companies

Evaluate potential PI claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients

Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions

Supervise and delegate tasks to a support staff team

Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements

Requirements

A JD degree from an accredited law school and barred in Massachusetts

3+ years of experience practicing law

Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills

A natural ability to keep things moving in a case and updating clients

Client-facing experience with a high degree of emotional intelligence

Bonus

Personal injury experience

A native or fluent spanish speaker
