They are seeking a
Senior Systems Administrator / Tier 3 Support Engineer
to join their Columbia-based team. This is a fast-paced, technically rich role ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and networking. You’ll begin in a senior service desk capacity handling escalated tickets (roughly 10 per day), with a clear growth path into the
Escalation Team
and ultimately the
Project Team .
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot complex issues across
Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune
Support Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Teams Voice (bonus)
Diagnose Intune compliance, device management, and policy issues
Work with
SonicWall firewalls , switches, routers, and wireless controllers
Troubleshoot
DNS, subnetting, NAT, SMTP, RDP, and SSL traffic
Support business applications (experience with AutoCAD or engineering/design tools is a big plus)
Configure and deploy PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Identify root causes and recurring trends, proactively improving processes
Requirements
3–5+ years of MSP experience
(or similar high-volume technical environment)
Strong expertise in
Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and Teams
Solid networking fundamentals (Network+ preferred)
Experience supporting professional services, construction, engineering, or design environments is a plus
Strong troubleshooting mindset—not just quick fixes
Clear communicator who works well with both clients and leadership
Work Schedule
Based in
Columbia, MD
Onsite during ramp-up
, then
hybrid (2–3 days in office weekly)
Occasional onsite client visits as needed
