Lead Data Warehouse Developer Location:

Albany, NY 12236 (Hybrid - up to 50% remote with approval) Contract:

5-Year Contract (Minimum 6-Month Commitment Before Replacement) Work Hours:

40 hrs / week | Monday-Friday Onsite Requirement:

Must be onsite in Albany, NY for minimum first 6 months

The Lead Data Warehouse Developer will serve in a senior technical capacity, responsible for troubleshooting complex system issues, designing enterprise data models, developing and tuning SQL/PL/SQL programs, and guiding development teams. The resource must possess strong leadership skills and hands‑on expertise to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives, performance optimization, ETL development, cloud/SFTP data pipelines, and advanced reporting environments.

Mandatory Experience Requirements

5 years troubleshooting complex technical problems involving networking, databases, applications, and servers.

3 years data modeling for reporting & analytics.

5 years advanced SQL performance tuning.

3 years providing technical guidance to software development teams on implementing solutions, managing concurrent tasks, and handling complex technical issues.

3 years guiding teams on performance tuning, enterprise data warehouse systems, and reporting & analytics optimization.

5 years Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

Must be onsite in Albany, NY for the first 6 months.

Preferred / Bonus Scoring Experience

Additional years beyond the mandatory requirements.

Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise DW programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize PL/SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning scripts.

Design new data warehouse sources and models.

Support ETL development, including Attunity.

Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines (cloud/SFTP).

Provide technical leadership and guidance to DW teams.

Optimize enterprise DW performance and reporting ecosystems.

Work with Tableau, OAS, and other analytics/reporting teams.

Education Requirements Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
