Senior Estimator We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Estimator with experience in Commercial projects in San Diego. This role also requires strong sales acumen and comfort with face-to-face client interactions. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in securing new business opportunities while ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company standards.

Base Pay Range $135,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Preparing comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for commercial and retail projects.

Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the cost estimation process.

Reviewing design options and recommending the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.

Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.

Conducting risk analysis and providing strategies to mitigate them.

Utilizing estimating software systems to maximize efficiency and accuracy.

Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction technology.

Participating in proposal presentations and client meetings.

Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Estimator in the construction industry.

Proven experience in commercial projects.

Proficiency in using estimating software systems (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, CostX) and MS Office suite.

Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with high levels of accuracy.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
