This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge mobile applications that integrate directly with medical devices.
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 3+ days/week
Join a high‑performing product quality team developing the OPAL Mapping System, a 3D cardiac mapping and navigation platform used in minimally invasive electrophysiology procedures. As a Software Test Engineer you will design, execute, and automate tests for software components, including algorithms, user interfaces, and back‑end data handling in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure system functionality and regulatory compliance.
Create, debug, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and tools like Selenium or Squish.
Execute test runs, validate Jira items, and document results in detailed test reports.
Collaborate with developers, hardware engineers, field support, and cross‑functional teams.
Participate in scrum meetings, bug triage, and product reviews.
Assist in defining test strategies, methodologies, and test data setups.
Maintain compliance with ISO and FDA documentation standards for medical devices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
1–3+ years of software test engineering or related experience.
Strong programming experience in Python, with familiarity in C++, ReactJS, NodeJS.
Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Squish) and source control (Git, BitBucket).
Understanding of AI/GenAI, TensorFlow, AWS, S3, and Amazon Bedrock.
Prior experience in Agile Scrum environments.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device software testing experience.
Linux/Unix test automation experience.
Attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to learn complex software quickly and adapt to new technologies.
