Base salary range $150,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Run the tax division daily—from compliance to advisory—ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence across engagements.
Develop & execute strategy to hit financial/operational goals; report performance to leadership.
Mentor, review, and approve complex business and individual filings; elevate technical standards.
Build client trust as the primary contact for key accounts; identify planning opportunities proactively.
Drive quality control via audits, metrics, and continuous process improvement.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver comprehensive tax + financial planning solutions.
Own budgeting & forecasting for the department; optimize resource allocation.
Track legislation & trends and translate changes into client strategies and internal guidance.
Requirements
CPA preferred (EA/MST/JD a plus); deep command of U.S. federal, state, and local regs.
10+ years in tax with 5+ years leading teams; strong public accounting pedigree.
Leadership DNA: proven team management, coaching, and delegation skills.
Operational savvy: strategic planning, business development, and technology adoption.
Communication superpowers—able to make complex strategy simple and client‑ready.
