Exempt Career Summary: The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking to hire an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Education and Outreach Manager. The ANCC Education and Outreach Manager leads and directs the work of other employees, manages ANCC outreach programs, educational resources, and related projects. Evaluates quality and integrity of program implementation, prepares and manages related budgets, and ensures strategies support program development and goals of ANCC and the American Nurses Enterprise (ANE). Manages ANCC education and outreach team’s programs and activities to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Oversees, plans, and develops methods and procedures for implementing education and outreach programs, directs and coordinates program activities, and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or objectives of programs. Supervises the work of program staff to ensure the quality of service provided. Responsible for education and outreach program evaluations by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics. Modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. Ensures all services provided are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Selects personnel according to knowledge and experience in area with which programs are concerned. Confers with staff to explain programs and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of programs. Prepares program reports for superiors. Prepares and controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations within scope of responsibility. Creates verbal and written communications, in alignment with education best practices, while interfacing with existing and potential clients and representatives of higher education institutions, health care industry, state nurses’ associations, state boards of nursing, specialty health care provider organizations, provider organizations and international governmental and non-governmental organizations. The visibility of this position in the nursing community and abroad requires the incumbent to be an experienced leader; comfortable with independent decision making, managing personnel for direct and on-site personnel, project leadership and coordination with all aspects of outreach to hospitals, healthcare organizations, governments, industry, and universities. The incumbent must maintain a trusted and influential connection in the nursing professional community, valuing and pursuing professional contacts to strengthen and expand the ANCC and ANE vision, within their various areas of expertise. Responsible for support programs overseeing assigned personnel to efficiently and effectively attain strategic growth goals. Applies an understanding of project management and analytical skills to provide insight on program initiatives. Manages appropriate budgets for assigned projects. Evaluates programs for financial impact and oversees tactics and strategies to increase growth and outreach within scope of responsibility. Serves as manager of a team creating and implementing programmatic workshops, outreach, and new client cultivation. Along with their team, they develop course content and provides education and related continuing education materials in accordance with nursing continuing professional development standards. Ability to accurately complete NCPD activity planning forms; identify professional practice gap(s); determine learning outcomes and measures; outline content; determine timeframes, schedule, and NCPD credits; identify teaching/learning strategies (methods, materials, media, and resources); design learning plans; provide supervision and support for online, live, and blended activities; and ensure distribution, collection, and completion of documentation. Knowledge and ability to implement ANCC NCPD Accreditation Program criteria or oversee personnel with these responsibilities. Has primary accountability to monitor the effective delivery of education and outreach programming via metrics (e.g., numbers of members for pre-application programs, tradeshow contacts and follow-up metrics, initial certification applications, designations). Collaborates with Strategic Communications team in content creation, marketing, and promoting workshops, events, and programs. Identifies and fosters key partnerships and relationships, both internally and externally, to support the growth and integrity of ANCC products and programs. With team, actively represents ANCC at conferences and meetings with commissions, boards, volunteer groups, professional associations and other groups. Creates a customer-focused service environment that serves the needs of specialty organizations, academic, collaborating organizations, association entities, and individual nurses. Oversees the organization, scheduling, related budgets, event execution, and direct reports involved in tradeshows and events. Establishes personal and professional credibility, gains respect and builds trusting relationships with the staff and customers. Serve as a point of contact between external stakeholders and key decision-makers to ensure goals and activities are achieved on time and as contracted. Assists with ensuring that the credentialing outreach processes and team will maintain or exceed ISO 9001 standards. What you bring to the American Nurses Enterprise:

Education

Registered Nurse, active and unincumbered Master's Degree (MA) or equivalent, or four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related Work Experience

Minimum 5 years in nursing education or leadership or 10 years of progressive leadership. Skills

Ability to grasp, translate, and operationalize big ideas into operational goals and plans that meet the needs of the Foundation, Enterprise colleagues, stakeholders, and grantees. Track record of working on initiatives from conception to implementation and through evaluation. Resiliency and comfort with ambiguity and change. Ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple, complex projects. Well-developed public speaking skills. Ability to create excitement and energy around strategic goals. Availability of regular travel throughout the year at various sites, including international. Occasional to frequent overnight travel, including international Project Management knowledge or certification preferred Nurse Planner ISO 9001:2015 knowledge Additional Qualifications
