Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite) Pay Range: $70/hr-$85/hr (DOE)
Network Engineer IV - Contract (24 Months) What You’ll Do You’ll join the Terrestrial Networking Team (TNT), which supports several high‑demand test venues. This team is scaling its engineering capacity, and you’ll be one of four contractors helping stabilize and modernize network operations across these mission‑critical environments.
Automating network configuration workflows
Improving security posture and supporting certification readiness
Managing and optimizing network resource access
Ensuring smooth operations across major test venues (EGSE, Flatsat, PIT, Carwash)
Typical Day
Onsite hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
Occasional OT, weekend, or holiday work depending on mission schedules.
Collaborate with engineers, lab teams, and test‑venue owners.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and support highly available network environments.
Contribute to readiness tasks and network automation initiatives.
Required Skills (Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills)
Deep Networking Expertise
TCP/IP networking, routing, and protocols: TCP, OSPF, BGP
Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and core infrastructure technologies
Multi‑Vendor Networking Equipment
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Alcatel‑Lucent, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.
Linux/Unix Systems Experience
Nice-to-Have Skills
Python scripting for analysis, automation, and insights.
Hands‑on lab experience (hardware setup, troubleshooting, validation).
IPv4/IPv6 design and implementation experience.
Leadership Principles (Preferred)
Ownership

Experience & Education
3‑5 years of relevant networking experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
