Title: Programs Clerk (Temp)
Hours: 30 hrs/week; Duration: remainder of 25/26 school year.
Hourly Rate: $20.00.
Job Summary Provides clerical assistance to the administrative and teaching staff in assigned program/initiative.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Assists with program/initiative process documentation including parent/staff notification, meeting minutes and follow-up to meetings.
Tracks timeline for referrals, evaluations/re-evaluations, and annual reviews.
Completes billing forms and other forms.
Sorts, organizes, delivers, and processes all incoming and outgoing mail.
Collects, prepares, maintains, organizes, and disseminates appropriate files, documents and information for all meetings and programs/initiatives in an orderly manner.
Makes copies of all documents for parents, teachers, and staff members included in student case.
Enters, updates, and maintains data in database, generates and distributes reports, and uses software to prepare documents.
Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.
Minimum Qualifications Education
High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
Experience
One (1) year of office, clerical, secretarial and/or computer experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Judgment, initiative, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g., Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred). For new permanent secretarial/clerical/technician hires, a minimum score on a pre‑employment assessment is required.
