About the job The VP of Product Management will own the vision, strategy, and execution of the global Unifocus SaaS platform. This leader will translate product vision into action through business case development, competitive analysis, product-market fit, and differentiation, while working with clients and the internal Unifocus team to guide roadmap prioritization and ensure successful product implementation and integration for a best-in-class client experience.
This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in SaaS product management, skilled in mentoring and developing talent. The ideal candidate will define and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with company goals, leveraging market research and competitive analysis to drive innovation. A strong customer‑centric approach is essential, using feedback to enhance user experience.
The candidate must excel in cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product launches. Proficiency in data‑driven decision‑making, familiarity with agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work with the executive team to assess and define product vision and execute on product roadmap to bring to fruition
Engage with all other executive team members to create a strong product culture throughout the organization
Align product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution cross‑functionally with regards to short‑term and long‑term goals of the business
Own the product roadmap, define, and prioritize features and requirements and manage releases with phases and milestones]
Collaborate on pricing and competitive positioning of the product portfolio.
Combine qualitative feedback from client surveys and quantitative feedback from usage metrics to define new services and product enhancements
Build and lead the team of Product Managers to define and measure key performance metrics to track the performance of the service to accelerate improvements
Improve, design, develop, and build B2B SaaS applications
Develop, build, and maintain product alliances and integrations
Lead and mentor a global team of Product Managers to identify, define and release new products to unlock revenue opportunities, improve product experience, and enhance the Unifocus platform to expand our market leadership and long‑term growth
Partner with Engineering to execute on product roadmap and drive feature innovation, platform capabilities, integrations, and unified design
Identify new service opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices, driving innovation
Work with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams to assess product mix; evaluate market share; conduct competitive analysis; and identify new products
Partner with Sales team to close strategic opportunities and drive key client expansions.
Requirements
BS/MS in Computer Science and Masters in related field or equivalent experience required
7+ years of Product Management experience with B2B/B2B2C SaaS technology products preferably, with a track record of shipping cloud products and cloud services
Familiarity with agile development processes and experience in managing product roadmaps and backlogs effectively
Experience in developing and commercializing mission critical SaaS applications
Proven track record of success leading product teams while achieving aggressive company and business objectives
Experience in leading cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration among engineering, marketing, sales, client success, and support to achieve product goals
Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines
Proven track of success in launching software applications and services in the targeted markets
Skilled at working with cross functional groups and teams in multiple geographies
Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform product decisions, assess performance, and identify opportunities for growth
Developing budgets, forecasts, and metrics around portfolio management and roadmap
Inspires behavior of "challenging the status quo" to transform through innovation and breaks down barriers so individuals are empowered and held accountable to do their best
Exhibits the following proficiencies: accountable for high quality, value driven work that drives business outcomes; places the user in the center of decision making, teams up and collaborates for speed, agility, and innovation; embraces continuous learning, is curious, embraces ambiguity, voices opinions; and takes personal accountability
