General Manager – Hampton Inn & Suites Ontario
Hampton Inn & Suites Ontario is currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to serve as General Manager and lead the property to surpass brand standards and exceed Owner expectations.
As part of the property team you will help us "craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick‑ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns"!
Hotel is finishing up a full renovation this fall – exciting opportunity for experienced General Manager to take the property to the next level!
Position Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of customer service to guests and associates alike
Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct deficiencies
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports to include forecasting, labor control and revenue reports
Develop the annual business plan and budget
Have thorough understanding of revenue management
Be highly focused on sales at the hotel on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Monitor and execute the daily, weekly, monthly sales action steps as outlined in the marketing plan and lead the sales team to high levels of revenue generation
Have a thorough knowledge of necessary cost controls and procedures to maximize monthly and annual profits
Protect the hotel and its assets through enforcing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program
Education and Experience
Experience being a General Manager in a like‑sized property, three years or more
Experience at a premium‑branded hotel required, Hilton brand highly preferred
Previous renovation experience expected
Knowledge of local competition and industry trends
Strong leadership and professional image
Excellent decision‑making ability and analytical skills
Be able to multi‑task various job duties daily
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
