A respected full-service hotel in the vibrant Overland Park, KS community is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales. This leadership role is responsible for guiding a high-performing sales team, implementing strategic initiatives, and serving as the second-in-command for overall hotel operations. Situated just minutes from Kansas City and conveniently off I-35, the property is a preferred destination for business travelers and a premier venue for weddings, meetings, and corporate events with 10,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space.

Director of Sales Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve revenue goals
Establish sales territories, quotas, and performance standards
Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Forecast business levels and report regularly on team performance
Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
Represent the hotel at industry and community events
Director of Sales Qualifications
Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related discipline
Previous supervisory or management experience required
Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
Proven relationship-building and client-engagement skills
Compensation Package
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 base, commensurate with experience
Bonuses: Quarterly incentive program
