Patient Care : Diagnose and treat the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions; develop individualized treatment plans; perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations; collaborate with medical and behavioral health colleagues for integrated care.
Communication : Engage effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; provide clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options; support a patient‑centered approach.
Documentation : Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records; document psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment progress; ensure adherence to billing and regulatory standards.
Diagnostics : Order and interpret necessary labs and imaging; coordinate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with therapists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers; participate in team meetings, case conferences, and peer consultation; provide psychiatric input and consultation as needed.
Quality Improvement : Participate in quality assurance initiatives; review clinical outcomes to support evidence‑based care; help implement improvements to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
Job Requirements
A valid and unrestricted California medical license
Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry (ABMS or AOA)
Completion of an accredited post‑graduate training program
