Role Overview The IAM Solutions Engineer evaluates identity workflows, access‑control policies, authentication mechanisms, and permission models. This role focuses on identifying misconfigurations, inconsistencies, and improvements across identity systems.
What You’ll Do
Review identity workflows for authentication and authorization
Analyze access policies, least‑privilege alignment, and misconfigurations
Summarize permission structures in clear, structured documentation
Validate SSO, MFA, federated identity, and directory integrations
Identify security gaps in privilege provisioning and lifecycle logic
Support recurring reviews across identity platforms and environments
Must‑Have
Experience with IAM platforms, identity protocols, and access‑control models
Strong understanding of authentication flows (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
Ability to evaluate and document complex permission structures
What You Bring
Experience with IAM platforms, identity protocols, and access‑control models
Strong understanding of authentication flows (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
Ability to evaluate and document complex permission structures
Nice-to-Have
Experience implementing enterprise IAM or zero‑trust architectures
Compensation: $40 - $80 an hour.
