The Position: We're looking for a passionate Clinical Educator for our CNA Programs. The Clinical Educator – CNA Programs provides direct instructional support for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training, including classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction. In addition, the educator facilitates training and mentorship preparation for CNA preceptors to support consistent onboarding practices. This position follows established curriculum and training guidelines and operates under the supervision of the Manager of Healthcare Pathways.

Deliver classroom lectures, hands-on skills demonstrations, and clinical supervision to CNA students based on state-approved curriculum.

Maintain training materials and equipment in good working order for skills lab and clinical sessions.

Monitor and record student attendance, participation, and skill competency.

Administer written exams and hands-on assessments according to program guidelines.

Conduct standardized orientation sessions and workshops to train CNAs to become peer preceptors.

Requirements:

Current Hawaii Registered Nurse in good standing.

BS in Nursing from an accredited school or equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years as a registered nurse and/or practical nurse in acute/post-acute care, rehabilitative nursing, home health, or related setting required.

Ability to prioritize projects and initiate follow through with meticulous attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and ability to write clearly and concisely.
