This position focuses primarily on the production floor who is very team-focused, implements streamlined processes, and is very product-oriented to produce results. This person will also be using Solidworks Cad software frequently for plant layout and tooling. This position reports to the Engineering Manager. Duties & Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing processes to ensure operations are capable of producing at the expected level of product quality & volume of productivity. Will Recommend changes, as needed. Ensure new equipment and associated processes are operating as intended after machine installation and process implementation. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing departments on the design, development and validation of new manufacturing processes. Encourage efficient use of floor space in collaboration with the Manufacturing department when laying out work cells. Conduct PFMEAs, as needed, to address high risk and/or recurring manufacturing issues. Communicate with Engineering and Production to coordinate efforts to resolve equipment or process issues that delay or halt production progress.
