Performance Test Automation Engineer (Onsite) – Overland Park, KS

Summary
As part of an Agile team, conduct comprehensive performance testing encompassing requirement gathering, test planning, scripting, execution, analysis, and result reporting/sharing with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish load test scenarios for various types of performance tests including load, stress, volume, failover, etc.
• Coordinate and collaborate with dependent teams across the product line to ensure the success of overall test runs.
• Conduct manual testing to validate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor server utilization during test runs.
• Participate in code reviews for performance test scenarios and create/maintain test data.
• Engage in production log analysis to determine target and peak load models.
• Maintain performance test scenarios and test scripts.
• Develop and submit performance test reports.
• Analyze performance test results comprehensively.

Requirements

• 7+ years of performance testing experience and a comprehensive understanding of product performance testing concepts, methodologies, and techniques.
• Experience using LoadRunner and JMeter for performance testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Java) for developing and customizing test scripts.
• Experience in planning and designing performance tests for load, stress, spike, scalability, and volume testing.
• Proficiency in performance test analysis and presentation to product teams/tech operations.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace) to collect performance metrics.
