Accounting Manager

A well-established, privately held real estate investment firm with a 20+ year history of owning and managing over 50 commercial properties across Southern California is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This company values innovation, operational excellence, and long-term relationships with both tenants and investors.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr (flexible based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets
• Supervise and mentor a team of two accounting staff
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
• Review CAM reconciliations, journal entries, and property-level financial statements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with property management and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Excel
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred

• CPA or active CPA candidacy
