Microsoft 365 Engineer , youll be the go-to expert for managing, securing, and optimizing the M365 platformincluding Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Purview, and Intunewhile enabling productivity and safeguarding compliance.
What Youll Do Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, mail flow rules, hybrid connectivity, and retention policies Configure and secure Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive environments Implement compliance and data governance controls using Microsoft Purview Enforce conditional access, MFA, and identity protection policies in Entra ID (Azure AD) Monitor service health, usage, and security alerts via admin center, Defender portal, and PowerShell Troubleshoot complex issues and develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API) Collaborate with IT teams on integrations, change management, and end-user training Manage Windows Server environments for optimal performance and security
What Youll Bring Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Masters preferred) Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and related services Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Purview compliance tools Expertise in Entra ID (Azure AD), identity management, and conditional access policies Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
Pay Transparency (Illinois) Base salary: up to $110,000 Discretionary bonus Benefits: Health coverage, PTO, 401(k) with 6% match, 2% profit sharing, Life & Disability insurance, Holidays
