What You’ll Do: Evaluate hearing function by administering and interpreting audiological tests Diagnose type and degree of hearing loss and prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports Provide treatment plans, including hearing aid fittings, assistive devices, and patient education Counsel patients and families on hearing health and device use Maintain audiology equipment and ensure functionality of related software Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
What You’ll Bring: Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) Current Audiology License in the State of Maine Experience in hearing-aid dispensing, fitting, and counseling for pediatric and adult patients. Strong diagnostic skills, including comprehensive audiologic evaluations and appropriate follow-up care. Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care partners. Ability to manage the full continuum of hearing care, from assessment to device management and long-term support. Collaborative approach with clinical partners and confidence using EMRs for accurate documentation. Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.
