Senior Staff Engineer

What You’ll Do

Serve as a technical authority across avionics electronics, embedded systems, power electronics, digital design, and related technologies

Lead root‑cause investigations and drive hardware design improvements across active and legacy programs

Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production and field issues

Act as a trusted technical partner to key customers, translating complex engineering challenges into actionable solutions

Review and provide guidance on engineering documentation, including drawings, schematics, models, and analysis reports

Identify design risks and recommend robust, production‑ready solutions

Mentor and develop engineering teams, sharing best practices and supporting long‑term technical capability growth

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)

10+ years of engineering experience in avionics, embedded systems, digital electronics, or power systems

Deep expertise in one or more of the following:

Embedded system architectures

FPGA/digital system design

Avionics electronics and power conversion

Demonstrated excellence in analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving

Experience influencing and leading technical teams without formal authority

Strong communication and customer‑facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

Background supporting space‑grade or military‑grade avionics

Systems‑level understanding across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines

Ability to work effectively in ambiguous or matrixed environments

Experience with software integration and verification

Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical or mechanical interface design
