Job Overview Function within the team environment of the Corporate Controlling Group with focus on OPEX Controlling and SLA management between 1CU and MBM Core entities. Lead planning, forecasting & reporting activities on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for the 1CU functions. Perform reporting and analysis to management, Corporate Controlling and global HQ.

Position may require ICT compliance activities as applicable.

Responsibilities

Lead the review of monthly actual OPEX spending for function/departments, ensure completeness in recording of Monthly Journal entries, and monthly run rate/variance reporting is accurate. Analyze results and trends of variances and issues to provide strategic insights to senior management.

Oversee the maintenance of high‑quality data, generate and distribute monthly reports to Department Senior management and Finance, manage ad‑hoc requests, provide required departmental reporting and analysis to senior management & HQ.

Perform analysis and investigate variances versus forecast for Operating Expenses and capital spending for Functions/Departments and provide insights to senior management. Coordinate with functions to update forecast of future costs and timing. Lead the review of Monthly Forecast and actuals Run Rate with each department senior management. Identify risks and opportunities related to current forecasts vs. Plan. Identify potential for continuous improvement and implement.

Lead cross‑functional planning activities during MBBP for functions by ensuring compliance of deadlines and communicating targets including identification for improvement and its implementation. Review initial submissions and evaluate for reasonability and consistency within the market including alignment with senior management. Ensure official plan is submitted and local systems are updated. Monitor changes to plan numbers and create budget shifts as necessary.

Lead the coordination, review and required documentation of year‑end accruals for US 1CU, ensuring their accuracy. Ensure compliance with dollar amount requirements for submission of year‑end accruals and consistency with budget.

Oversee the documentation and tracking of all reporting requirements, targets, projects & initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and senior management, and providing insights to enhance performance.

Additional Scope

Provide forecast for month and full‑year and review for reasonability.

Accuracy applied and checks related to reporting (data/database/reports).

Thoroughness in relationship mgmt & communication with suppliers and customers in work processes.

Deliver information on Operating Expenses, Capital Spending development, update on planning & forecasting activities.

Ability to collect data and establish facts, and identify trends and variances.

Qualifications

Proficient Accounting Experience (3‑5 years)

Proficient Finance Experience (5+ years)

3 – 5 years of minimum experience is required

Education

Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting, Finance (required)

Master’s Degree - Accounting, Finance (preferred)
