What we are hiring for: Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday

Starting Salary Range: $17.50 - $18.50

What You’ll Do:

Act as the primary point of contact between memory care and main kitchen.

Assist with the flow of food and meals from the main kitchen to memory care dining areas.

Plate and serve meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines, care plans, and special diet requirements.

Coordinate and facilitate daily refreshments for residents,

Independently manage all dining service operations during meal periods, ensuring efficiency and resident‑centered hospitality.

Record food temperature and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain stock levels accordingly.

Assist with inventory control and communicate supply needs to the Dining Room Manager.

Ensure all food items are properly labeled, stored, and handled in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Report meal counts, dietary changes, preferences, and special diet needs to the Dining Manager and culinary team.

Attend

Positive Approach to Care (PAC)

and

GEM States training

to develop skills that support residents living with dementia and apply these approaches during meal service.

Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect residents, staff, and self.

Act as a resource and problem solver for current residents, guests, family, and staff.

Observe Residents’ Rights, as posted within the facility, to include any updates thereto.

Mandated reporting – if you suspect any verbal, physical, emotional, financial, or neglectful treatment toward a resident or staff member, report it to your supervisor immediately.

In Emergencies, assist residents according to the Emergency Plan of the facility.

Qualifications:

Minimum of some high school education or GED preferred but not required.

Prior experience in dining service, food handling or hospitality required.

Experience in senior living and/or memory care preferred.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations preferred.

Reasonable expectations of mathematical, technical, and reasoning skills to perform essential job responsibilities.
