This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Single source management for all ASG RDT&E ATO accreditation packages. Ensure timely responses to NAWC ISSO/ISSM questions and concerns, establish a single point of communication for changes/questions/guidance from NAWC ISSO/ISSM, and enable effective resource management of ASG or outside surge personnel if needed to meet ATO package resubmittal due dates.
Oversight of network architecture and evolving requirements as testing and data analysis needs arise.
Clear accountability and leadership for all ASG IT systems.
Supervisory oversight of RDT&E Network Administrators and DAiTA employees supporting NMCI and SharePoint.
Experience with network administration and supervisory oversight of technical staff. Deep understanding of NMCI, RDT&E, Developer Seat environments, and Navy IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements (RMF, NIST, etc.).
Proven ability to manage cross-functional IT teams.
Strategic planning and resource allocation.
Strong communication skills for interfacing with SES, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
Change management and ability to implement enterprise-level process improvements.
Basic Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience.
Security+ and an OS Certification.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and advanced experience in Information Systems, or related technical field (desired).
Demonstrated leadership experience in enterprise IT management within DoD or a large federal/defense organization.
Preferred Certs
CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Security+
Windows certs such as Teams Administrator Associate
Strong desire for higher certifications and/or experience in related IT fields (e.g., CISSP, CASP)
Security Clearance Secret or above (must be a US Citizen).
Tele-work and Travel On-site.
