The Ohio State University Division of Orthodontics is looking for a part‑time faculty member (Lecturer) to teach in the graduate clinic during the Spring semester 2026.

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA‑recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.

Responsibilities

Business aspects of an orthodontic practice;

Management of conflicts in the office;

Communication with patients and their parents;

Balance of orthodontists life/legal issues;

Arrangement of site visits of private offices;

The faculty member hired will be encouraged to participate in the division functions such as faculty retreat annually.

Education and Experience Requirements

DDS or DMD and Certificate in Orthodontics.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio States Mission, Vision and Values.
