As a result of this success, Amiculum is looking for an experienced and ambitious medical writer with a passion for publications who enjoys building positive long-term relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping to drive organic growth.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the USA, as long as you’re legally authorized to work there and currently based in the country.
Key responsibilities
Development and delivery of high-quality scientific content on a fast-paced and growing global publications account
Providing clients with a high level of scientific expertise on medical communications projects, with a focus on publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client products and the wider therapy area
Ensuring quality and consistency across multiple deliverables
Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts
Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams
Identifying opportunities to grow a contemporary publications account and actively participating in idea generation
What you’ll need
A strong academic background in life sciences
Excellent storytelling abilities – a creative thinker who enjoys transforming complex science into clear, accurate, and engaging content
Previous experience as a medical writer supporting publications in a healthcare communications agency
Strong editorial skills and excellent attention to detail
The ability to be engaging and confident in verbal communication
Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and working as part of a team
The ability to keep calm under pressure, work on multiple projects in parallel, and meet agreed deadlines
Confidence to make decisions and drive projects forward
