Boulder Fire Rescue is seeking applicants for an immediate opening for a Fire Protection Engineer (Plans Reviewer/Construction Inspector). This full-time, primarily in-person position is responsible for reviewing plans for fire protection systems for new and remodeled construction as well as issuing permits associated with the plan review. This position is also responsible for conducting the required inspections associated with those permits. In addition, this role serves as one of the department’s fire investigators, although investigative duties comprise approximately 5–10% of the overall responsibilities.
Annual Salary Range: $77,417.60 – $112,153.60
